Peg Doll Patterns and Instructions
Peg Dolls
While searching for sturdy figures to populate a dollhouse castle and cottage for my grandkids, I ran across peg dolls on Etsy–knights, kings and queens, woodland fairies, forest creatures, families and adorable little characters of every kind. Simple and solid, they were perfect for little hands. With a few patterns and supplies I had on hand, making peg dolls became my evening hobby. I had so much fun with own designs for woodland, wildflower and bird peg dolls that I decided to make some of my peg doll patterns and instructions available on Etsy.

Resources for Making Peg Dolls
Materials:
I love the variegated yarn by James Brett for Marble Chunky. I used the orange, brown, green color and pulled the strands I needed.
The classic craft glue Alene’s is my choice for gluing on the hair.
These are the peg dolls I used. If you use different ones check the fit before you cut the felt.
JoAnn Fabrics has the best color options for felt. You only need the small sheets.
